Another fucked up Locus situation...

Unit of 10 Demonettes and a mounted Slaanesh Herald ranked 6x2. They are charged in the rear by a Keeper and 5 Flesh Hounds. Keeper Challenges Herald and smokes him, does the unit still get ASF???

Normally I would say yes, as all ASF goes at the same time, however, according the HE FAQ, units with ASF cancel. Does that mean the Keepers ASF cancels out the Herald and units ASF?

At this point you would revert to normal charging sequence? So the Keeper and Flesh Hounds go first, because the ASF's cancelled and they charged?

I think you got it right Kistler. Exactly as you posted here.

I couldn't quite make sense of what order you wrote (long day) so I just typed out what I think is the right way to do it:

ASF against ASF cancel. So before the herald dies, the Kipper goes first, then the herald and 'nettes, then the hounds.

However, once you've knocked off the herald, the 'nettes lose ASF, so they no longer go before the fleshhounds.

Here it is again:

6 Demonettes and 1 Slaanesh Herald charged in the rear by Keeper and Flesh Hounds.

Does the ASF cancel completely and you revert to normal charging sequence? Meaning order would be:

1. Keeper
2. Flesh Hounds
3. Demonettes + Herald?

Or does ASF only cancel on the units that have it, making the order:

1. Keeper
2. Demonettes + Hearld
3. Flesh Hounds

As far as I know, ASF ONLY effectively cancels out between models that actually have ASF. They still all strike before the flesh hounds. So it's:
Keeper
Daemonettes + Herald
Fleshhounds

Works for me.
