AUCTION TIME!
Yep, the unruly masses are calling for another one of our used game auctions.
This one will be held Sunday, August 3rd at the Granite Run Mall store.
• until SATURDAY, July 26th: Sellers can bring in items to enter in the auction.
(SORRY, there will be no entry of items accepted after this date.)
• August 3rd – THE AUCTION BEGINS!
10:00 AM: Store opens, bidders register & gaze in awe at items.
12:00 PM: Auction begins. Trent yells and screams for 6 hours. Everyone has fun. EVERY SINGLE ITEM GETS SOLD. No exceptions, it all goes.
6:00 P.M.: Mike collapses, everyone takes new stuff home.
• MONDAY, August 4th: Sellers may pick up their credit voucher, or use it to get new loot!
How’s it work?
Look through your old miniatures and games, and see if there’s anything you don’t want. You can put most anything in the auction from full armies to single figures, even just collections of bitz. Painted or unpainted, built or still in the box, even something your dog chewed up. We take your items, enter them into the auction, assign you a lot number, and sell them off in a live auction that goes all day. Whatever your items sell for, you receive that amount in store credit. So trade in old stuff you don’t want, and take home new stuff!
What can I enter?
Most of the items entered are old Games Workshop models, but we will also take miniatures from other systems, and other old games. Just remember that most of the gamers bidding on things are looking for GW stuff, Warmachine, or similar games. If you want to put in old action figures or D&D books they probably will not go for very much.
How do I enter my items?
Sort out what you want to sell, and bring it in up unitl the week before the auction. You absolutely cannot bring items after that. NO WAY on the day of the auction! We would prefer it if you could sort out any loose bitz in Ziplock bags. The final list of items will be posted in the shop and on our website forum. Bidders can see items they’re interested in and ready their cash.
What do I need to do to bid?
Bidding is easy, just show up, register at the front counter, and get an auction booklet with your number on the back. Bid by holding up your number. If you win, pay for your items at the counter. Buyers pay sales tax on each item, just like any other sale. Purchases can be made by credit card. If you expect to make several purchases, we can hold them until you’re ready to buy.
