I challenged Arash to a round 1 game or he challenged me, don't remember.
Game 1 vs. Arash's Woodies
He had Lvl 4, lvl 2, Dancer Noble, X2 10 GG, X3 8 Dryads, X2 6 Wild riders, 8 Dancers, Treeman, 5 Watchers.
Arash deployed strongly towards the right/ center right and lightly on the left where I had deployed heavily. His dancers and all character immediately teleported into the woods next to the cannon and destroyed it and started making itself annoying on that flank but I jus stalled them with flaggies and pistoliers. He danced around me the first four turns picking his own fights while shooting and magicking some units. However, I remained patient and waited for my openings and they came in the form of tactical charging dryads. The waraltar was abl to turn the righ flank and pretty much evaporate it with a timely cleansing flare. On the left flank which contained his archers and treeman, he hid his treeman and archers most of the time, but I was able to bait and draw him out then flank him with swordsmen, he eventually broke and I took out 1 unit of archers by charging them with a priest. And the others rallied on the last turn. In the end I were able to feed each other lot of small units but getting the treeman with cr and coffin cornering my FC was key in a very small victory.

Game 2 vs. Pete Deflorio's Undivided Daemons
He had Belakor, X2 10 Plaguebearers, 12 Horrors, 4 screamers, X2 4 Plagueriders
Pete hadn't played fantasy since last Colonial so he had to get back into the game. He is a very good 40k player though. His first turn he tried to hide belakor behind his riders however i saw the opening and since the altr is large I charged through woods into belakor challennged and destroyed him. At that point it was game over, he tried to rescue belakor by flanking with riders but S4 wont do it against my unbreakable monster and I was eventually able to get swordsmen in the flank and with no magic d my priests and their knights smacked up the bearers and nurglings after I baited them with pistoliers. My BSB took care of screamers threatening my gunnners and my archers redirected the other rider unit pulling them from the main battle line and allowing me to shoot a couple of them down. However the scenario disregarded VPs and just used TQs and after turn 5 I had swords in the flank of 2 riders with 4 wounds between them and the other rider unit wit the same number of wounds about to take 2 units of pistoliers shooting and a grape shot. And the horror uni t ( 6 left) about to take knights in the flank. However time ran out and instead of a massacre victory, I got a minor win

Game 3 vs. Lee's Dark Elves
He had a very similar list to Rob Kopp's- Highborn on dragon, noble on peg, scroll caddy, X2 5 Riders, X2 5 xbow riders, 2 Cold one Chariots, 5 harpies, 2 Giants
There was no fighting on the left flank. In the middle he had Giants+ chariots+ harpies vs. my shooting and a brick of swordsmen. I outmaneouvred him and completely shot down his center by the end of the game, it was crushed. The left flank my attempts at stalling the dragon and noble peg were poor. I was confident I had a massacre or major until one pivotal turn where out of frustration of my pistoliers not wounding a chariot, I shot my gunners at a chariot instead of killing off a rider unit. That turned pivotal as that rider unit hit the rear of my BSB's sword unit along with a dragon to the front and the noble as well although he shouldn't have because I bocked off the charge although my opponent did not notice. I lost that unit which was huge but afterwards he couldn't get anything with the dragon because the cannon knocked 4 wounds o it and he wasn't even considering attacking my center. That mistake was huge and brought a massacre to a minor victory with me just narrowly missing the major

I feel like I have a better understanding of my army although I am still making mistakes with them. I think I will be very succesful as I played 3 very competitive armies and beat two of them fairly handily. Also I got 5 quarters in 3 games and my opponent's got 0 meaning i have excellent battlefield domination with this army and I can get where I want. Also none of my opponents had any standards and they only got 2 out of me but that was just because of my stupid mistake and him accidentally cheating so I feel I can get those battle points at the Colonial.
In the end only the Empire (Ed and I) had gone 3-0 however because of the scoring system and me being deservedly 0d in painting I didnt place. 1st was Ed's Empire, 2nd was Birdoff's O&G, and 3rd was Brookie's Slaanesh mortals.
